Voices and Verses
Voices & Verses creates performances and events which incorporate various art forms. Original vocal and instrumental music, both composed and improvised, original interpretations of existing repertoire, video, photography, visual art, spoken word, and other forms of artistic expression are combined in our compositions.
Founded by composer and designer Karel Suchy in 1995, Voices and Verses focuses on the new and innovative, but performs works from many genres and periods. Our goal is to promote aesthetic and spiritual enrichment through the arts, while fostering collaboration across disciplines, including arts and engineering.

Voices and Verses will present Elegy, a performance in honor of “All Saints/All Souls” on Thursday, November 12, 2015, 7:00 PM at Fusion, 5014 7th Ave., Kenosha, WI. They will reflect on our concepts and attitudes about death, the afterlife, and the departed through poetry, song, contemporary and improvised music, and visual art. Admission $5.
